Beautiful Girls

I photographed Sydney when she was only 18 months old.  Now she is 3 and has an 18 month old sister.  I just love watching kids grow up. These little girls were such a joy to photograph.  Not only they are beautiful but they were full of life and so expressive.  We had a great time!!!!

Big News

This past spring we received a wonderful surprise.  We found out we are having another baby!!!  Our girls are so excited.  We did find out this summer that we will be having our third little girl.  We couldn't be happier.  I am scheduled for a c-section on December 12th.    With the girls being 5 and 7 years old this little peanut is going to get so much love.  My husband asked me if she will ever get put down between the three of us.  Heck NO!!!!  I am going to cherish every moment as I know this will be our last baby.  I know I said that after #2 but now we feel our family is complete.  Many people are asking if we have a name picked out.  Yes we do but we are keeping it secret until she is born.  :-)

This has not been an easy pregnancy but with just over 9 weeks to go I see the light at the end of the tunnel.  My schedule is completely booked for the rest of 2008.  I will be taking a minimum of 6 months off from sessions after the baby is born.  I will, however, continue to schedule the baby planners during this time.

I thought it was time to revive this neglected blog.  The last year has been crazy.  I am now completely healed from my back surgery and feeling great.

My oldest daughter, Laikyn, started 2nd grade last week.  My youngest, Cora, will start her last year of preschool next month.  Where did the summer go?  I can't believe the kids are back in school already.

We received some exciting news this past spring.  I will blog about it in another post.  For now I am posting some images from a recent session.  She is simply beautiful!!

Brinkley Turns One

One Year Olds are so much fun but also soooo busy.  I think mom and I got quite a workout that morning chasing Brinkley around the house.  He had his own agenda for the morning and I don't think it included pictures!!  We had a great time, though.  We got lots of smiles and giggles and it makes the hard work worth it!!!

Happy Holidays

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving.  We have enjoyed the extra days of sleeping in and having the girls out of school.  I cannot believe the holidays are upon us.  Where did the year go?

Watching her grow

I just love watching children grow up.  She is far from grown up but I have been photographing her since she was 6 months old and she sure looks grown up to me.  It is so amazing to watch their little personalities develop and when you don't see them for a while they seem like completely different kids.
